As a young Noongar man, Davinder’s journey has taken him across the country, with the East Coast becoming a strong part of his identity.
 
Growing up knowing little about his Noongar heritage, Davinder was naturally drawn to a style of fine line work in his art. He later discovered that this very technique was part of traditional Noongar mark-making, used to tell stories. That realisation struck deeply, connecting him to something that had always been there.
