Coby Khan

Coby Khan

Coby Khan is a young Noongar artist from Wadandi Country, south of Perth. The youngest of six siblings, he is the only one to follow in his grandfather’s footsteps by picking up the paintbrush; a connection that continues to inspire his practice, despite not having had much time with him.

Coby’s work is grounded in family, heritage, and lived experience. When he’s not painting, he spends much of his time with his family or riding bikes with his brothers, valuing balance, health, and connection as central parts of his life and creative process.

With a strong desire to grow and evolve as an artist, Coby is committed to extending his artistic career as far as it will take him. He is proud to be represented by Yungarra Gallery, where his work sits alongside respected First Nations artists, and to be part of a broader platform that supports emerging voices within contemporary Aboriginal art.

Coby looks forward to future opportunities and the continued development of his practice, carrying forward both personal passion and cultural legacy.
